This celebration marks the end of an evil era
In February and March 2014, Russia invaded the Crimean Peninsula — part of Ukraine — and then illegally annexed it. This marked the beginning of the Russo-Ukrainian War, during which Russia had already killed over 14,000 people in Ukraine by early 2022.
russia’s committed war crimes in Ukraine include killing civilians, raping, taking hostages, torturing, bombing homes and civilian infrastructure, and much more.
We will celebrate putin’s death with a sense of long-awaited justice, gathering to mark the end of an era of pain. The next day, we will join a flashmob, cooking and serving traditional Ukrainian borsch on the streets under the label:
'Free Borsch on putin’s Death'
We invite everyone who stands for justice and freedom to join us, cook, share, and celebrate together as we turn this moment into a collective expression of hope.
